about following the rules

Within God's laws, commandments, rules, and truth we can find a way to security, peace, inner calm, and love. God has formed His universe and our reality in ways we can understand if we are willing to understand and live by His laws. Within God's laws, we can work, live, laugh, and love. Within God's laws, we can live in complete assurance that we are doing His will. When we follow God's rules for living, even when we are attacked by the darkness, we can stand on solid and holy ground.

When we commit our lives to living in godly and devout ways, we can find security in knowing that the ultimate outcome of our life is a glory-filled eternity. Evil tries to pull us away from the heart of God. Evil works in many ways. When we follow the laws of God, we will not fail God and God will not fail us. God's laws always work. God's ways bring us happiness, joy, and peace. Deuteronomy 5:9 for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
