about bringing the Light

In our daily walk through life we are bombarded with news of disasters, depressions, crises, and destruction. Sin in the world creates horrible circumstances. Every person that walks the earth lives in the sewer of sin and satanic filth. In the darkness of this sin and filth came a Light of love and redemption. That Light is Christ the risen Savior.

The persons who live in the sewer of sin and filth pay a heavy price for choosing to live ans they day. Person's of every culture, persuasion, economic income status, and nation need to hear about the Light of love who came from God, who came to set all of us free from the prison of darkness into which we were born. You are one person who can bring the Light of His love into the life of another person. You are one person who can show others the redeeming love and grace that fills ever heart with love, hope, happiness, and peace. What great news you can bring to the world.

about our being called to be free

As difficult as it is to do (sometimes), we are to express our love for Christ…in all ways and in all things. As temptation places you in shackles and temptation tortures you because of your love and devotion to Christ, you can, even in chains, assert and claim freedom from the bondage of sin. We are free in Christ, no matter what our earthly circumstances might be. In our freedom in Christ, God pleads with us to serve and love others rather than ourselves. In freedom that comes from Christ, we do not suffer from the dark shadows that lurk over the heart like those who do not love Him. In this freedom in Christ, we can and must share His light and love with others who are in the darkness. Because we have pledged our lives to Christ, we are free from the lies and deceit that infect the mind and soul of those who have not surrendered their life to Him.

In His love, God asks us to shine His light into the hearts of those persons caught up in the lies and deceit that imprison hearts and souls in denial. As persons who strive to be holy and devout, we are free of the chains of fear and anxiety about the future after we die…for we can see the mansion Christ has prepared for us. We are called to share the love of Christ with the world so the world will not be held in the bondage of fear. With a surrendered heart in Christ, we are free of the need for worldly things and attachments. In Christ, we find freedom from the chains of earthly things. He supplies us with all we need, because He knows our every need before we ask.

about persevering

Many days in our life are not easy. Our teenage years are often filled with the uncertainty, doubt, and anxiety of growing up. Our senior years are often filled with the uncertainty, doubt, and anxiety of what lies ahead of us as we near the end of our life. The years in between are often filled with the stresses and strains of trying to raise a family, build a career, and build enduring relationships. Every stage of life carries with it the risk of trauma and loss. It seems that every week we face a new challenge of some kind. In this life, in this world, we need a spirit that perseveres. We must not let setbacks, failures, losses, pain, and suffering turn us away from our God. It is the aim of the force of darkness to blind you and make you believe God is not listening.

The force of darkness wants you to believe that God does not care about you. The wonderful truth is that God is listening to you and to your heart. God is tuned into every thought you think. God knows more about your tough days than you do. God blesses your perseverance. God is with you as you struggle. God is with you as you weep. He never leaves you alone. He is always ready to minister to every hurt and need. It is because God is so willing to be there for you, that you must persevere and be there for Him as one of His sons or daughters.

about pledging our lives

There is victory ahead. If there was not victory ahead, God would not have given these words and signs to us. We must not lose heart. We must never give up or give in. Victory is certain because Christ has won for each of us an eternal home full of joy, happiness, peace, and excitement. Victory is certain and each of us who march in the Lord's band of soldiers must keep on keeping on. We must always remember the ultimate outcome of this great conflict between good and evil, light and darkness, God and Satan, has been determined. Our part in this great battle is to determine the winning margin for Christ. Each of us must pledge our lives that not one soul will be lost to the enemy if it is within our power to bring that soul to Christ.
