about following the rules

Within God's laws, commandments, rules, and truth we can find a way to security, peace, inner calm, and love. God has formed His universe and our reality in ways we can understand if we are willing to understand and live by His laws. Within God's laws, we can work, live, laugh, and love. Within God's laws, we can live in complete assurance that we are doing His will. When we follow God's rules for living, even when we are attacked by the darkness, we can stand on solid and holy ground.

When we commit our lives to living in godly and devout ways, we can find security in knowing that the ultimate outcome of our life is a glory-filled eternity. Evil tries to pull us away from the heart of God. Evil works in many ways. When we follow the laws of God, we will not fail God and God will not fail us. God's laws always work. God's ways bring us happiness, joy, and peace. Deuteronomy 5:9 for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, 10 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments. when you have no ideas

Sometimes we get stumped. Sometimes we run out of ideas on how to fix or solve a problem. One of the greatest of ideas about Creation was that God thought all that exists into existence. We call God the creator because that is what He does. We have an incredible numbers of choices in life. We can choose to solve a problem the way God would want us to solve it or we can choose to solve a problem out of the will of God.

Most of the time, we already know what we need to do to fix a problem. Most of the time, our problem is admitting to ourselves we know the answer. Once we admit we have an answer to a problem we must then be willing to come to grips with implementing the solution. God has given us an incredible imagination that supplies us with ideas to invent, adjust, and adapt. When we have ideas that glorify God, we experience the touch of His creative force, we are built up, and problems get solved. Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (NIV)

about peace and security

Knowing our ultimate destination in life gives us ultimate security. When we know where we will be at the end of our life's journey, then all other things, events, and persons in our life take on a new perspective. Knowing for sure that when we die we will be in Heaven, gives us the security to deal with all of our temporary day to day problems. In truth, none of us will be on this earth permanently. All of us are on the earth for just a little while. There is peace and security in knowing that no matter what happens to us today, that we will inherit an imperishable body and live in peace and joy after our bodies stop working.

1 Corinthians 15: 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed
